3M Comfort Lift Elbow Support is a product designed to aid recovery from elbow injuries. This product provides a medium compression that promotes blood flow. The result is that the tissues receive more oxygen and nutrients to function properly and repair themselves quickly.

The material from which this accessory is made, in addition to compressing the limb, has other important objectives. The first of these has to do with providing a feeling of comfort and rest. Secondly, it can be used on the left or right elbow in the same way. Lastly, it allows perspiration so that the skin is properly ventilated. In addition, it does not excessively increase perspiration, so as not to make the person uncomfortable.

It is indicated for people of medium size in case of arthritis, inflammation or tendinitis due to any injury.

In order to use this elbow support correctly, the following instructions should be taken into account:

• This accessory should not be bent so as not to generate an excess of compression that impedes the flow of blood.
• It should be placed very carefully when pulling on the edges so as not to tear it.
• Some people may experience signs of swelling after wearing the brace for a few hours. This is normal, as long as it does not come with irritation or itching. Signs of swelling can be prevented by repositioning the elbow pad several times a day. If necessary, it can be removed for a few minutes to allow the skin to rest.
• Washing is done by hand and should not be left to dry in the sun or with the aid of heat sources. Mild soaps should also be used.
• In case of using this accessory for a prolonged period of time, it is recommended to change it every six months. As it is a compression product, its fibres wear out with use and washing. What happens is that, after this time, it does not perform the same compression and, therefore, it does not provide the same benefits.
• If the elbow pad tears for any reason, it should not be knitted. Even if it can be shaped in the same way, it does not provide the same benefits.
