What is it and what is it for?

The Comforsil nighttime bunion corrector for the right foot is a splint for the treatment of hallux valgus or bunion. The use of the corrector helps to relax the abductor tendon that causes the deformity of the big toe, which helps to relieve pain during rest. Used exclusively at night, it helps to position and align the first toe correctly. The splint also exerts gentle pressure against the bunion, which helps to limit its progression.

Hallux valgus or bunion is a bony protrusion that forms at the joint at the base of the big toe. The most common symptoms are obvious bone deformity, swelling at the edge of the toe, stiffness, continuous pain and a rubbing sensation.

The Comforsil nighttime bunion corrector for the right foot is a podiatric product made of 100% pure silicone, hypoallergenic and non-toxic. The device is easy to clean, durable, resistant and retains its original shape for much longer. Easy to fit, the splint is easily adjusted by means of an adjustable strap and adapts smoothly to the foot, providing cushioning in pressure areas.

Who is it for?

The Comforsil nighttime right bunion corrector is indicated for use by people with hallux valgus or bunion on the right foot. It aids in the correct positioning of the big toe. It contributes to the relief of nocturnal joint pain and rubbing pain. Helps to limit the development of the deformity while resting.

How to use

Gently place the Comforsil nighttime bunion corrector on the right big toe and tighten the splint securely using the adjustable strap. The splint should not be adjusted in such a way that it strains the joint and causes pain that prevents proper rest during the night. Do not stand or walk with the brace on. Joint pain may be felt during the first few uses. If it persists for more than 7 nights, consult a medical specialist.

Contraindications

Comforsil nighttime bunion corrector should not be used if the first toe (big toe) can no longer move laterally. Do not use on open wounds or ulcers. In case of diabetes, arteritis or neuropathy of the lower limbs, a medical specialist or pharmacist should be consulted. Do not use in case of allergy to silicone.
