Homeoplasmine is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used for skin irritations.
Homeoplasmine comes in the form of an ointment in a 40 gram tube.
Homeoplasmine should not be used in:
- Children under three years of age
- Patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any other component of the preparation.
- On infected or oozing lesions.
Because it contains boric acid, this medicinal product should not be used for prolonged or repeated use on injured skin (mainly scorched skin and burns), over a large surface area or with occlusive dressings, particularly in children.
Pregnancy and lactation:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using a medicinal product. Do not apply to the breast during lactation.
"Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription".
Apply a light layer to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.

If you forget to use Homeoplasmine:
Do not use a double dose to make up for forgotten doses.
Like all medicines, HOMEOPLASMINE can have side effects.
If any reaction not described in this leaflet is observed, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The following side effects have been reported:
Burning sensation at the application site, redness at the application site, eczema and hypersensitivity reactions including angioedema.

Store at a temperature below 25°C.
Do not use HOMEOPLASMINE after the expiry date stated on the carton.
Medicines should not be disposed of down the drain or in the rubbish bin. Please dispose of unneeded medicines and containers at the SIGRE point at the pharmacy. If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of packaging and medicines you do not need. In this way, you will help to protect the environment.
