Aposan hydrogen peroxide is a hydrogen peroxide compound with a higher amount of oxygen, so it is reinforced. It is used in first aid to wash and clean wounds, thanks to its bactericidal and yeasticidal effect.
Aposan hydrogen peroxide 1000 ml is fortified, as it has a higher concentration of oxygen and is stabilised to seventeen volumes.
Hydrogen peroxide is used as a disinfectant and antiseptic for general wound treatment, bacterial removal and deep cleaning.
It is also used in the treatment of ulcers, bruises, cuts on the skin, as well as in the general cleaning of the skin, eliminating remains of dressings adhered to it and controlling any type of infection.
One of the main characteristics of hydrogen peroxide is that thanks to its high oxygen concentration, it does not expire before 5 years. After that date, its concentration gradually decreases.
There are two ways to measure the concentration of hydrogen peroxide: percentage or number of volumes. The normal one is 3% or 17 Vol. This water is considered as reinforced hydrogen peroxide because it is more concentrated.
It is designed for cleaning and disinfecting all skin types, regardless of gender or age, although it is recommended for use from two years of age.
It should be applied to the desired area in two ways:
Hydrogen peroxide 5,1 % w/w. Reinforced hydrogen peroxide, stabilised to 17 volumes.
