Antidol is a non-prescription medicine used for the symptomatic relief of occasional mild to moderate pain, such as headache, dental pain, muscle pain (contractures) or back pain (lumbago), as well as in feverishconditions .
1 bottle 90 ml.
This medicine is indicated for the temporary relief of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, muscle pain (contractures), dental pain or back pain (lumbago), as well as being useful in cases of fever. It is an ideal choice for those who need an effective and easy to use pain reliever.
This medicine is intended for adults and adolescents who are 16 years of age or older (or have a body weight of more than 50 kg), as well as children weighing between 3 and 32 kg (approximately 0 to 10 years).
Antidol 100 mg/ml should be administered orally. For adults and adolescents over 16 years of age, the contents of the sachet should be dissolved in a glass of water. In children, the solution is dosed in millilitres (ml) using the 5 ml oral syringe included in the pack.
It is intended for short-term use in children between 3 and 32 kg (approximately 0 to 10 years). In children under 2 years of age, the dose should always be established by your doctor.
The dose of paracetamol depends on the weight of the child. The recommended daily dose is approximately 60 mg/kg/day, divided into 4 to 6 daily doses, i.e. 15 mg/kg every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg every 4 hours.
For administration of 15 mg/kg every 6 hours, the schedule is as follows:
Weight of child | Age (indicative) | Volume in ml | mg paracetamol |
---|---|---|---|
Up to 4 kg | 0 to 3 months | 0.6 ml | 60 mg |
Up to 8 kg | 4 to 11 months | 1.2 ml | 120 mg |
Up to 10.5 kg | 12 to 23 months | 1.6 ml | 160 mg |
Up to 13 kg | 2 to 3 years | 2.0 ml | 200 mg |
Up to 18.5 kg | 4 to 5 years | 2.8 ml | 280 mg |
Up to 24 kg | 6 to 8 years | 3.6 ml | 360 mg |
Up to 32 kg | 9 to 10 years | 4.8 ml | 480 mg |
For a direct calculation, the child's weight in kg can be multiplied by 0.15; the result is the ml of medicine to be administered. These doses can be repeated every 6 hours.
For adults and adolescents over 16 years of age (weighing more than 50 kg):
Do not exceed the dose of 1 sachet of paracetamol per dose. Do not take more than 3 sachets of paracetamol in a 24-hour period. The use of this medicine is conditional on the presence of symptoms such as pain or fever, and should be discontinued when these symptoms disappear.
If pain persists for more than 5 days, fever for more than 3 days, or if pain or fever worsen or new symptoms appear, it is necessary to consult a doctor for further clinical evaluation.
