ALCOSANI alcohol 96 is an antiseptic, bactericide for skin use. It is indicated for use on healthy skin. It has a disinfectant effect reinforced by benzalkonium chloride. It is for sanitary, clinical and hospital use. It acts on fungi and bacteria. It can be used on the skin to achieve a complete disinfection of the area in case of injections. It is for external use. Its efficacy on surgical hand disinfection has been previously tested.

It comes in a 250 ml format.

In case it is required to disinfect hands or specific areas of the body, it is only recommended to apply on the skin once it is clean and dry. Take a cotton wool and apply 10 ml on it, then rub over the area for 2 or 3 minutes, waiting for it to evaporate completely. If used as a disinfectant, the alcohol should be diluted in water and then applied to the areas to be disinfected. It is recommended to leave for at least 2 minutes. Not suitable for oral use. It is strictly for external use. It is considered incompatible with anionic detergents. It has no major effect on spores. It is highly flammable, so it is recommended to keep it away from heat sources.

It is recommended not to apply in body cavities or on mucous membranes. Avoid contact with eyes, as it can be very irritating.
