What is it and what is it for?

The Acofar Baby pink silicone soother for children from one year of age is the right accessory to relieve baby's need to suck. Its anatomical design and its manufacture in medical silicone contribute to give security to the baby while respecting the normal development of teeth, gums and palate.

It is made of hypoallergenic material and has an ergonomic teat that adapts to the natural position of the tongue and has a perforation that facilitates air circulation and offers greater comfort. It is also designed to resist biting and tearing.

Clinical silicone is its main component and it is a durable, natural and transparent material. Its size and morphology are not altered by constant use.

Who is it suitable for?

It is suitable for children from 12 months of age and upwards whose parents or caregivers wish to offer a safe and comfortable product to satisfy the need for sucking. It also adapts to the needs of those little ones who need to be kept calm with a soother that respects the development of the oral cavity.

How to use

Remove the soother from the packet and offer it directly to the baby. First few uses may require picking up and placing back into the mouth until continuous sucking habit is achieved. Follow these recommendations:

  • Replace with a new soother every two to three months and discard at the slightest sign of deterioration, such as alteration in shape, change in colour or material wear.
  • It is not necessary to sterilise after each use, but it is advisable to do so if it has fallen on the floor or become soiled.
  • If a steriliser is not available, it can be cleaned under running water.
  • Avoid use if you notice signs of breakage or tearing.
  • Do not tie ribbons or cords to the soother, we only recommend the use of fasteners that comply with the safety specifications noted in current legislation.
  • Do not expose to sources of extreme heat or light.
  • The child must be supervised during use by an adult.

Contraindications

Avoid use in case of maxillary hypersensitivity or if expressly contraindicated by the paediatrician. Discontinue use if unexpected reactions occur.
