Acofar Povidone Iodine 10% 50 ml

Acofar Povidone Iodine 10% is an antiseptic for skin with minor wounds or scratches.

It comes in a 50 ml drop pack.

Who it is intended for

Formulated for adults and children from 2 years of age with wounds or grazes.

How to use

Place about 3 ml on a gauze pad, plaster or dressing and apply to the skin, allowing it to remain in contact with the product for at least 5 minutes. It is recommended to allow the wound to air dry.

Precautions

Do not use Acofar Povidone Iodine 10%:

• On the eye area, mucous membranes and sensitive areas of the skin.
• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of its components.
• Together with mercurial preparations.
• On extensive areas of the skin, or for a prolonged period of time.
• In people with thyroid disorders.

Pharmaceutical advice

This product is for external use only. Keep out of the reach of children and away from food and drink. Do not use in newborns, women in the perinatal period or during breast-feeding.

Use with caution in children under 2 years of age. In the rare case of skin irritation or allergy, application should be discontinued immediately.

Composition

Acofar Povidone Iodine 10% contains: POLYVINYLPYRROLIDONE IODINE 10% (FREE IODINE 1%). EXCIPIENTS Q.S. 100 ML.
