Rhinocort® is a medicine formulated with budesonide, an active ingredient used to reduce inflammation of the nasal mucosa, thereby helping to relieve the nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis caused by pollen and other airborne allergens.
This medicine works thanks to budesonide, an active ingredient that acts on allergic rhinitis caused by pollen, dust mites, animal hair or fungal spores, reducing symptoms.
Budesonide is an active ingredient belonging to a group of medicines called glucocorticoids, which is widely used to reduce inflammation, shortness of breath, chest tightness and coughing or wheezing caused by asthma.

The recommended dose is two sprays per day into each nostril. This amount can be administered once in the morning or spread out, applying one spray in each nostril in the morning and one in the evening.
As it is formulated for use in adults only, this medicine should not be used by anyone under 18 years of age.
What does Rhinocort contain? Each 10 ml of product contains 64 mg of budesonide as the main active substance. The other excipients are disodium edetate, potassium sorbate (E 202), anhydrous glucose, microcrystalline cellulose (E 460) and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (E 466), polysorbate 80 (E 433), hydrochloric acid and purified water.
