Vitacare Fructaid® glucose isomerase is a nutritional supplement formulated and designed for those who are intolerant to fructose, the sugar naturally contained in fruit. It relieves and prevents the discomfort and discomfort caused by this food allergy, which can hinder the performance of everyday tasks. Glucose isomerase is an enzyme that occurs naturally in the body and has the ability to cause the chemical reaction between fructose and glucose.

In this way, fructose is converted into glucose, which is more easily absorbed by the intestine. This intolerance occurs when the fructose contained in fruits, honey, sugar cane and cereals is not absorbed in the small intestine and passes into the large intestine. Bacteria in this portion of the intestinal tract ferment it, causing gas, stomach pain, cramping and a feeling of heaviness.

These discomforts appear several hours after consuming these foods. By taking Fructaid before eating, the grains in the capsules reach the small intestine and work to prevent indigestion. No sugar, gluten, lactose, sorbitol, nuts or fermentable carbohydrates are included in its composition. This enzyme is not of animal origin, is produced with the help of bacteria, high quality ingredients and under standardised processes that meet the requirements for this kind of product.
