What is it and what is it for?

Prim Viadol Short Stocking is a type of graduated compression stocking that is used to improve blood circulation in the legs and reduce swelling, especially in people who have problems with chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, oedema or lymphoedema.

Graduated compression stockings exert constant pressure on the legs, which helps to improve blood flow and reduce fluid build-up in the lower limbs. This can relieve symptoms associated with poor circulation, such as fatigue, pain and swelling.

Who is it for?

Viadol Medium Short graduated compression stockings are indicated for people who have circulation problems in the legs, such as:

  • Chronic venous insufficiency.
  • Varicose veins.
  • Oedema.
  • Lipedema.
  • Lymphoedema.

Instructions for use

  1. Put the stockings on in the morning before getting out of bed, as the legs tend to be less swollen at that time.

  2. Make sure the legs are clean and dry before putting the stockings on.

  3. Hold the top of the stocking and gently slide the foot into the stocking.

  4. Carefully unroll the stocking over the foot and leg, making sure it is snug but not too tight.

  5. Adjust the stocking along the leg, making sure it is snug and wrinkle-free.

  6. If required, fold the top of the stocking down to make it more comfortable.

  7. Wear the stockings throughout the day, removing them at night before going to sleep.
