Medilast short stocking model S/P R892 is a therapeutic garment designed to prevent, relieve and treat problems associated with blood circulation.
This large-size medical device provides the support required by the venous and lymphatic system, giving the user a feeling of relief from symptoms such as heaviness, fatigue, pain and swelling in the legs.
Medilast S/P R892 short stockings are designed for tired legs and are suitable for people who have developed varicose veins and are looking to reduce symptoms such as swelling or tingling.
The use of normal compression stockings is also advisable for pregnant women and for people who spend long periods of time on their feet or who, on the contrary, sit for long periods of time.
Put on the Medilast compression stockings as soon as you get up. First, turn the stocking over until you reach over the heel, then insert the foot into the toe, taking into account that the heel must be well positioned at the bottom. Do not roll up the compression stocking as this may damage the fabric, instead, gently slide the stocking down to the instep and push the heel area up to the ankle, then gently pull the stocking up. Because it is a delicate mesh, it is advisable to be careful when putting it on. Remember that rough edges, or accessories such as rings and bracelets, can damage the fabric. If your skin is damp, apply some talcum powder before fitting to make it easier to slip on. Check and adjust the stockings several times during the day.
It is recommended to remove Medilast stockings before going to bed.
Do not use oils, creams and ointments, as their use may damage the fabric of the therapeutic stockings. Do not use in case of allergy to the manufacturing materials. If you experience any unfavourable reactions such as numbness or tingling, it is advisable to discontinue use until you consult your doctor. Remember that incorrect use of the product may cause adverse reactions such as: skin infection or pressure damage to peripheral nerves. It is not recommended for use on sensitive skin, as it may cause: itching, flaking and signs of inflammation. Medilast therapeutic products should be replaced every 6 months. In case of damage to the product, do not repair the stockings, as it could lose its effectiveness or be counterproductive to your health.
