COMPOSITION PER DRESSING

Honey 20 %. Excipient.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Vetramil Pad has a non-adherent absorbent layer. The inner layer is impregnated with a small amount of liquid based on honey and glycerine, which makes Vetramil Pad slightly moist. Vetramil Pad contains pure honey produced under controlled conditions. This controlled production process ensures that Vetramil Pad dressings do not contain pesticide residues and that the quality is always consistent. The coating is permeable to wound fluids, allowing the inner layer of the dressing to absorb them. The coating prevents sticking to the wound.

INDICATIONS

Aseptic wound dressings for covering wounds. ADVERSE REACTIONS Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to honey.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. If necessary, clean the wound as usual.
2. Open the wrapper at the mark.
3. Remove the gauze from the wrapper and spread it over the wound.
4. Secure the gauze in the usual way, e.g. with a plaster or gauze bandage. After a day or two at the latest, carefully remove the Vetramil Pad dressing and replace it with a new one.

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

- Do not use if the wrapper is damaged.

- Do not use if the wrapper is not tightly closed.

- Do not apply to a wound for more than 30 days at a time.

- Do not reuse a used dressing.

- Do not re-sterilise an opened wrapper.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Store at 10-30°C. FORMAT 5 dressings 10 × 10 cm.
