Icetight Poultice is a clay-textured substance, clay or poultice, which is applied to the ankles, knees or tendons of horses or mares after long days of physical activity. It generates a cold and anti-inflammatory effect, which acts for approximately 24 hours.

It is a product recommended by professionals in horse riding and equine training. It facilitates the processes and helps to replace other veterinary treatment alternatives such as the shower with massage effect injectors, the reduction of inflamed tissues using ice or bandages with soothing creams.

The texture of Icetight Poultice is clear clay, which is non-irritating and non-staining. It is easy to clean with a gentle wash, without having to rub or cause discomfort to the animal.

This poultice can be used on horses and mares in the pasture or at the farm. Ideal for those animals that have a moderate physical activity, or for equines used for competitions such as riding or long working days such as muleteering.

Before applying Icetight Poultice, the manufacturer suggests cleaning the area to be treated with plenty of water to remove traces of contaminants such as dust or chemicals. Then, a thin layer of a maximum thickness of 0.65 cm should be spread over the area, covering it with plastic or damp paper or wood. To enhance the results, it is also advisable to cover the clay or clay with a cotton bandage.

It is left to act for 24 hours and finally rinsed with water. It is not a doping substance.

Icetight Poultice should not be applied to open wounds. If the equine has such a laceration, a veterinary or zootechnical professional should be consulted to determine which product is appropriate.
