URGO Sterile Dressings for Burns and Superficial Wounds are highly effective thanks to their Lipid Colloid Technology (LCT) , a unique combination of hydrocolloid particles and petroleum jelly, which relieves pain and promotes wound healing.

This combination means that the dressings do not adhere to the wound, allowing for pain-free removal.

Advantages

- Immediate relief.

- Promotes healing.

- Lipid-colloid technology.

- Painless removal.

Who it is intended for

Designed to treat superficial 1st and 2nd degree burns.

Instructions for use

1. Clean the wound with an alcohol-free antiseptic.

2. Rinse with water or saline solution.

3. In case of burns, do not use eosin-type coloured antiseptics.

4. Dry the wound with a sterile compress.

5. Respect the blister as much as possible, as it is a barrier against infection. If punctured, disinfect the burn without removing dead skin that does not slough off on its own.

6. Remove the protective wings of the Urgo burn dressing and apply to the area to be treated.

Pharmaceutical recommendation

It is not recommended to use any cream before applying the dressing. In case of a superficial 2nd degree burn: Keep the wound in cold water for about 15 minutes to limit the extent of the burn.

Change the dressing for the first time after 24 hours and then every 48 hours. The duration of treatment is approximately 5 to 6 days .

Composition

Silicone and liquid paraffin
