Aftas Filmogel is a medical device produced by Urgo Laboratories. It is used to maintain oral health and provides wellness in the entire mouth area. It is made with the patented Filmogel® technology to promote the healing process.

This innovative liquid dressing helps to treat small benign ulcers that form in the mouth. It soothes discomfort caused by the rubbing of braces and dental appliances. It also improves canker sores caused by stress and fatigue.

It is very useful as a treatment for mouth sores or wounds, as when applied it forms a protective layer that relieves pain and heals quickly. It also protects against external aggressions, such as food and drink.

It also isolates saliva while eating without causing discomfort during chewing. It has been tested in clinical trials showing that 50% of consumers are satisfied or very satisfied after use.

URGO Aftas Filmogel 10 ml bottle, is indicated for the treatment of small mouth sores, aphthae and sores.

Open the bottle and remove the excess content by placing the spatula on the rim. Then apply the product to the area to be treated. Hold the mouth open for 10 seconds to allow the liquid to dry, form and the protective layer to become visible.

If the lesion has not been completely covered, it is necessary to repeat the operation. Urgo Aftas Filmogel can be reapplied as many times as desired, but as long as the protective film is visible, it is not necessary.

In general, it is recommended to do this procedure 4 times a day, preferably before eating and until the lesion heals.

The composition of this product helps to disinfect the spatula-applicator automatically, therefore, it does not require cleaning after each use.

When canker sores are severe or larger than 1 cm, this dressing should not be applied to small and numerous canker sores, as they need medical attention.

It is not recommended for use on wounds with infections, bleeding and burns. People with allergies to salicylic derivatives should not use the product.

There are no studies that reflect its effect on pregnant or breastfeeding women, therefore, it is not recommended that they use the liquid without the guidance of a specialist.
