Amino acid involved in numerous biochemical reactions, including the formation of nucleotides, amino acids and glycogen . L-glutamic acid is a substrate for the de novo synthesis of glutamine . It acts directly on gut-associated lymphoid tissue , stimulating the immune system and protecting the intestinal mucosa .
Its main component is silymarin, which acts as an antioxidant. It also increases endogenous antioxidant capacity by increasing glutathione concentration and superoxide dismutase activity. Silymarin has anti-metastatic, anti-angiogenic and anti-inflammatory activity, inhibits cell proliferation and induces apoptosis .
Rich in ellagic acid, which binds to and deactivates various carcinogenic substances and has anti-mutagenic properties. Inhibits angiogenesis and the cell cycle. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
OncoVet works as a nutritional support for all types of neoplastic diseases, in treatments with and without chemotherapy or addiotherapy and pre- or post-surgical support. Indicated in mammary tumours. All cancer patients (99%) suffer from nutritional deficiencies that are difficult to counteract, as the biochemical processes of organic regulation are greatly compromised. Supplementation with Biocomplex Antioxidant is recommended.
Administration: 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight, twice a day.
