Phosphatidylserine is a phospholipid that is present in all cells of the body, including brain cells. Phosphatidylserine is a basic component of cell membranes and is involved in the maintenance of these structures, contributing to their stability. Phosphatidylserine is mainly present in foods of animal origin, mostly in organ meats and, to a much lesser extent, in dairy and vegetable products, except for beans and soya.
Solgar Phosphatidylserine contains phosphatidylserine obtained from soya lecithin and comes in the form of softgels providing 200 mg of phosphatidylserine per capsule.
For adults, take two (2) capsules daily, preferably with meals. Swallow the capsules with water or other beverage. Do not exceed the daily dose expressly recommended for this product.
