Prim Bruxicalm Sport Mouthguard is a device to protect teeth from rubbing against each other during sports activities. Latest technology design, adaptable and anatomical, with the right thickness to provide greater comfort. Protects against possible traumatisms.
Bruxicalm Sport is a mouth guard against bruxism and involuntary friction of the teeth from the renowned brand Prim. This device is specially designed to be used by athletes during practice, avoiding possible trauma to the teeth caused by impacts and accidents on the field.
This Prim dental discharge splint is ideal to avoid bruxism, an unhealthy habit that consists of clenching or grinding the teeth without a functional purpose. This habit often occurs involuntarily and can cause headaches, jaw muscle, neck and ear pain. In addition, there is a risk of wearing down teeth.
Bruxism can occur during sleep, throughout the day or during times that require great concentration, such as competitions and sports practice. Therefore, it is not only useful against knocks, but also to relieve the stress of sportsmen and women when they are concentrating.
The Bruxicalm Sport by Prim has a new anatomical design that adapts better to the oral anatomy, does not cause discomfort in dental occlusion and respects the shape of the oral cavity. It is light and with an appropriate thickness to respect the comfort of the mouth. It allows you to breathe and speak correctly while it is in place.
It has a protective case to carry it safely anywhere.
Bruxicalm Sport by Prim is indicated for sportsmen and athletes on all occasions where the integrity of the dentition is at risk of being compromised. It is interposed between the upper and lower teeth, preventing the teeth from rubbing against each other. Protects against impacts.
The shape of Bruxicalm can be customised for each user by immersing it in hot water.
Insert the splint for 30 seconds in hot water at 70 °C. Attach to the upper denture, then close the mouth and suction for 1 minute. Finally, place in cold water for 20 minutes.
Make sure the splint stays on the teeth by itself, if not, repeat the procedure.
To adjust the splint to the required length, cut the splint at the indicated marks.
Constant use of mouthguards can cause irritation of the gum tissue and mouth. Incorrect fitting of the splint will have counterproductive effects.
Flexible plastic composed of thermoplastic sheets.
