Normolabial Herpes Balm is a lip balm designed to help prevent herpes. Its formula not only helps to avoid the reactivation of the virus, but also contributes to its treatment and early disappearance. It has a high shea butter content which helps to moisturise the lips. The product creates a barrier on the area that protects against all those factors that trigger the virus. It has an SPF 30 sun protection filter that reinforces the care on the most sensitive area of the face.
In addition to shea butter, this lip balm contains essential oils and vitamin E, which are necessary to improve the condition of the lips. In this case, shea butter is responsible for providing greater hydration, as well as helping to soothe dry, chapped lips. Also, because it is rich in vitamins A, D and E, it contributes to a healthy and soft mouth.
The essential oils in the product also help to improve moisture and blood circulation in this area of the face and restore the lips' natural colour. Similarly, vitamin E is responsible for preventing a cold sore rash from developing, so it provides relief from the stinging sensation caused by this type of lesion.
It comes in an 8 ml lip balm.
It is indicated for adults and children over 4 years of age, with chapped or dry lips, prone to suffer from cold sores or with the lesion.
It should be applied 2 to 6 times a day, especially at times of exposure to virus triggers such as extreme heat or cold, hormonal changes, infection or lip lesions. If make-up is used on the lips, wait 15 minutes after applying the balm.
If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, do not apply the product. If you are pregnant, use only on expert advice.
