Bblove has designed an innovative device for measuring body temperature, an infrared thermometer. This device is easy to use and has been known for a long time in both the medical and domestic fields. An icon appears on the display to indicate the correct measuring position.

It is not necessary to put the device in contact with the person, as it is enough to place it a few centimetres from the person's forehead, wait a second and it will immediately emit the results, informing whether they are normal or there are irregularities in the temperature.

Because there is no physical contact, it minimises the risk of contagion. It can store up to 32 temperature measurements, which helps to keep track and check how the patient is progressing. Uses 2 AAA DC 3V batteries. When the power is running low, a warning is displayed on the screen. The battery lasts for approximately 1000 readings.

To start the measurement, switch the device on by pressing the Scan button. After selecting the unit of measurement, either °C or °F, a short beep is heard and the selected mode appears on the display. The thermometer is now ready for use.

Hold the thermometer close to the person's forehead and press the Scan button for one second. Then a beep sounds and the display will show the detected temperature. The process can be repeated as many times as necessary.

Once the body heat has been measured, the thermometer is turned off by pressing the Scan switch for approximately 5 seconds. If this step is omitted, the device will turn off automatically after one minute of non-use.

There is no information available about any contraindications associated with the use of this infrared thermometer. However, although the measurement is very reliable, it must be placed in the correct position. Otherwise, temperature fluctuations of up to one degree may occur. Do not use in children under three months of age.
