What is it and what is it for?

Mustela Physiological Serum 20x5 ml is a product designed for washing sensitive mucous membranes, such as the nasal and ocular mucous membranes. It comes in a practical and hygienic format in single-dose vials. It can be used as many times as necessary as it is a product that has no side effects on the body.

Its use facilitates the cleansing of the nose of children congested by mucus. It favours the elimination of nasal secretions and is also ideal for cleaning the eyes.

This serum is a sterile saline solution that provides cleansing and extra hydration, thus restoring comfort to the baby's nose and eyes. It can be used on any skin type regardless of age or condition.

This saline solution is a great ally for nasal congestion caused by mucus. As it is a sterile solution, it does not cause contamination and it is isotonic, which helps with nasal mucosa problems. It is a harmless product that can be used not only on mucous membranes but also to clean wounds.

It is very useful when there are allergies due to elements such as pollen, dust and other types of pollutants. Washing with this physiological solution eliminates these foreign agents. It is a versatile product that is very safe to use for the whole family.

Who is it suitable for?

It is a product indicated for washing the nasal passages and daily eye wash. It can be used in newborns, children and adults.

Instructions for use

The recommendation for nasal use is to insert the end of the ampoule into one of the nostrils, with the head slightly tilted backwards. Press gently so that the saline comes out. Then blow or use a nasal aspirator, in infants instill the saline with minimal pressure in order to avoid any risk of contamination of the middle ear.

For ophthalmic use, soak a cotton swab with the saline and gently wipe it over the baby's eyelids. Alternatively, a few drops of serum may be poured directly into the eye and blotted with a sterile compress.

Each ampoule is for single use only and should be discarded properly after use.
