What is it and what is it for?

The short black stocking with small toe cap from Medilast has been designed to achieve normal compression in legs with varicose veins. It is ideal for those times when legs are tired or swollen.

Medilast offers this type of knee-high stocking, which stands out for its soft and thin material that makes continuous use possible. In addition, it is very resistant and easy to put on, ideal in case of circulation problems.

Due to its colour it is quite versatile, goes well with all types of attire and is ideal for any occasion, whether casual or dressy. The stockings are aesthetically designed and anatomically shaped so that they do not slip.

The Medilast product features a highly elastic waistband and toe box that does not constrict, does not roll up and promotes toe mobility.

The compression for tired legs produced by this type of stocking is 22 to 29 mmHg or class II. Its function is to apply a decreasing pressure, which starts at the ankle and favours the return of blood to the heart.

Who is it suitable for?

For people who spend many hours sitting or standing. Also for pregnant women who suffer from circulation problems in the legs.

It is also ideal for people who are going on long journeys or driving for long hours.

Instructions for use

It is advisable to put the socks on in the morning, as this is when they are less swollen.

Insert the foot into the toe, making sure that the heel is well positioned in the lower area. Bring the sock up to the instep and push the heel area up towards the ankle. Gently slide the sock on, making sure there are no wrinkles.

Contraindications

It is essential to choose the correct size to ensure that the compression is adequate and has a positive effect. If you have sensitive skin, compression stockings may cause itching or inflammation. Incorrect handling of the product may cause a risk of infection or pressure pain. In case of discomfort, you should remove the garment and consult a qualified professional. Prolonged use and washing may reduce the pressure level and stability of the product. It is recommended to renew them every 6 months. Do not sleep with these stockings in place. Do not use creams before use. Do not repair stockings.
