The Medilast girdle is elastic, multiband and has a breathable fabric for greater comfort. The entire garment is covered by a velcro fastener that does not roll up.

Thanks to its double fastening, it helps to prevent creases and is an ally for rehabilitation and prevention processes. The brace is part of the Medilast range of trauma and rehabilitation products.

The product is available in a beige tone which helps the patient to wear it discreetly.

The brace is also recommended for rehabilitation or after an accident in the lumbar region. It is also suitable for preventing future lumbar problems in people who work with heavy loads.

It is recommended for postpartum, as its mission is to support the lumbar area and the belly. Thus, it helps the mother to recover quickly, especially so that her tissues return to their natural state and she has less back pain.

The girdle is worn over light clothing. It must be ensured that the girdle is kept in the correct position, and the fastening strap is used to achieve this. Each adjustment is made based on the needs of the individual patient. An ideal fit is achieved when the person feels perfectly stabilised. Avoid folds in both the garment and the girdle.

The treating physician will indicate the length of time the girdle should be worn.

Creases in both the garment and the girdle may cause injury. In case of a specific effort, the girdle should only be put on at the time and then removed. Too long wearing time can lead to problems with proprioceptivity. Wash the garment with mild soap, by hand and in lukewarm water. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Dry away from direct heat sources as this will damage the fibres. Not suitable for tumble drying. Do not iron.
