What is it and what is it for?

The Mam Anti-Colic Matt Neutral Bottle is a bottle designed to reduce the amount of air your baby inhales during feeding, which can cause colic and other digestion problems. It has a 160ml capacity and is made from high quality materials, free from BPA and other toxic components.

The bottle design includes an ultra-soft silicone teat that mimics the feel of the breast and helps prevent nipple confusion. It also features a patented venting system that prevents air build-up in the bottle and reduces pressure on baby's ear.

Who is it suitable for?

Mam Anti-Colic Matt Neutral Bottle, 160 ml is suitable for babies with colic or digestion problems, as the venting system reduces the amount of air swallowed during feeding. It is also suitable for babies who are bottle-fed and need a soft teat that mimics the sensation of the mother's breast to avoid nipple confusion.

How to use

  1. Wash and disinfect the bottle before first use and after each subsequent use.

  2. Check that the teat is correctly positioned on the bottle's threaded ring.

  3. Fill the bottle with breast milk or formula, not exceeding the fill level mark on the bottle.

  4. Place the cap on the bottle and shake gently to mix the breastmilk or formula.

  5. Place the nipple in the baby's mouth and hold the bottle at an angle of approximately 45 degrees.

  6. Make sure the nipple is always filled with breastmilk or formula to prevent the baby from swallowing air.

  7. During the feeding, watch your baby to make sure he or she is sucking properly and is not having trouble breathing.

  8. After feeding, disassemble the bottle and wash all parts with mild soap and water.

Contraindications

  • It is important to ensure that the bottle and teat are cleaned and disinfected before each use to avoid bacterial contamination that can cause infection.
  • If the baby has underlying medical or health problems, such as allergies or food intolerances, a different type of bottle or teat may be required.
  • In these cases, it is recommended that you consult a paediatrician or breastfeeding specialist before changing your baby's feeding or the type of bottle used.
