Food supplement based on collagen and vitamin D. UCII - 40mg Native Collagen type II and Vitamin D. Collagen precursor for joints and Vitamin D.
1. WHAT IS ARTILYRA® WITH UC-II® COLLAGEN?
It is a food supplement with type II collagen (UC-II®) and Vitamin D.
A perfect combination designed to help keep muscles and bones in good condition by helping the formation and maintenance of connective tissue and collagen.
ARTILYRA® DOSE: 1 capsule per day.
2. WHAT IS UC-II® COLLAGEN?
UC-II® is a matrix containing non-hydrolysed and non-denatured type II collagen made up of a natural triple helix structure of type II collagen, the same collagen that is present in our joints.
Its mechanism of action is unique: it works with the immune system to support healthy joints (in a way called oral tolerance).
This native form of collagen retains very special molecular regions called epitopes. The epitopes are able to bind to Peyer's patches (immune cells in our gut) triggering an immune response that is able to reduce inflammation and reverse the process of collagen destruction in our joints.
3. BENEFITS OF ARTILYRA®
UC-II® is a patented ingredient with several clinical studies, including one by the Pfizer laboratory, which have shown it to be much more effective than other products on the market such as glucosamine and chondroitin.
On the other hand, Vitamin D has several complementary studies, evaluated and accepted by EFSA, related to muscle and bone health.
- Demonstrated efficacy in healthy and osteoarthritic subjects1
- May trigger the natural rebuilding of cartilage in joints during the joint repair cycle and daily activities/exercise3
- Study results demonstrated an improvement in joint mobility and flexibility2
- Significant improvement in knee extension1
- Appears to alleviate joint discomfort in healthy subjects1
- Results significantly more effective than Glucosamine and Chondroitin in Osteoarthritis2
- Delays the onset of osteoarthritis (PFIZER preclinical studies)3
- Prevents deterioration of articular cartilage3
- Improves mechanical function of the injured knee3
- Maintains bone integrity of the knee joint3
- Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bone and normal muscle function4
4. INDICATIONS
