Ingredient properties

Glucosamine sulphate: A key glycoprotein in articular cartilage. It functions as a substrate for the production of macromolecules such as chondroitinsulphate and hyaluronic acid, which maintain the structure of the extracellular matrix and connective tissues. It supports the elasticity, strength and mechanical function of articular cartilage. It also has anabolic, anti-catabolic and anti-inflammatory properties.

Chondroitin sulphate: This glycosaminoglycan promotes chondrocyte metabolism, promoting cartilage restoration and preventing its degradation in osteoarthritis. It has anti-inflammatory effects, stimulates the synthesis of proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid, reduces the catabolic activity of chondrocytes and protects cartilage cells against oxidative damage.

Hyaluronic acid: The main component of synovial fluid, it is essential for joint lubrication. It also has the ability to retain water, which contributes to the viscous consistency of synovial fluid, promoting joint homeostasis and joint mobility.

How to take Cartilvit Forte?
