Surface anti-seborrhoeic cream manufactured by Ioox laboratories is a cosmetic product designed for all types of people with sensitive skin with a tendency to produce excessive sebum or flaking. Its nourishing formula is based on 4 main active ingredients: acetamide MEA, sabal serrulata extract, bisabolol and sodium lactate.
Acetamide MEA or acetamide monoethanol is a degreasing active ingredient that will help control sebum production. It also has moisturising properties, so it will not leave the skin feeling dry.
In the case of sabal serrulata extract, it has anti-seborrhoeic qualities that block the synthesis of lipids that produce skin oil. On the other hand, it decreases sebum production by the sebaceous glands.
Bisabolol helps prevent skin irritation and soothes sensitive skin. Sodium lactate acts as a powerful humectant and moisturiser that increases the water retention capacity of the cells.
It is mainly indicated for people with skin prone to seborrhoeic conditions, either on the face or scalp. Suitable for everyone, including babies, adolescents, adults and the elderly.
It is advisable to use whenever it is necessary, mainly when a seborrhoeic or flaking condition is noticed on the skin of the face or scalp. It is recommended that if it is to be used on baby's cradle cap, the whole area should first be cleaned with Pulcral Solution, a product designed to gently purify sensitive skin.
If there is a scaly condition in adults, the product can be applied directly to the area without the need to use another product to cleanse the area. If it is on the scalp, it does not matter if it is dry or wet, it can also be applied. Suitable for use on the face and the rest of the body, it does not need to be rinsed off afterwards.
Avoid applying to areas of skin with open wounds. Do not use if allergic to the formulation.
