The formula contains important natural active ingredients such as Fernblock®, green tea, plankton and phytosphingosine. Thanks to these ingredients, it exerts a very intense photoprotective function. It helps protect against UVA and UVB rays, as well as infrared and visible light.
It has a gel-like, non-greasy texture, which facilitates rapid absorption. Furthermore, the product is water-resistant and leaves no white residue. In addition, it helps to regenerate the damage caused to the animal's skin and to repair the skin barrier.
It has antioxidant properties that act as a shield against free radicals that produce oxidative effects on cells. Because of all these benefits, this gel helps to reduce the triggering of squamous cell carcinoma. This is a tumour that can appear in the nose and ears of pets that spend a lot of time in sunlight.
Heliovet Fotoprotector SPF 50+ is indicated for pets that are directly exposed to the sun's rays, especially cats and dogs.
Apply a generous amount of photoprotector to the areas of the body that are exposed to the sun. The product should be reapplied several times a day, especially after prolonged bathing.
When dogs and cats are in direct sunlight (balconies, gardens, windows, patios, etc.), the gel should be applied to them.
It is also recommended to use the protector during outdoor activities such as walks in the mountains, countryside, on the beach or in snowy areas. It is also recommended for sports and water sports.
If the animal has skin disorders or is under treatment with photosensitizers or antibiotics, it is advisable to seek the advice of a veterinarian before using this product.
