What is it and what is it for?

Hansaplast Scar Reducer helps to improve the appearance of scars. It is designed to make scars lighter, flatter and smoother to the touch: the first results are noticeable after the third week of continuous use. It can be used on both new and existing scars.

Helps to reduce bulging, reddened or protruding marks. Its reducing effect works by activating the skin's own regenerative process. The compress flattens and softens scars and gives them a smoother and more pleasant appearance.

Who is it suitable for?

The product is recommended for the treatment of minor superficial wounds that are in the process of healing and recovery. It is suitable for children, young people and adults of all ages who want to heal their wounds without leaving conspicuous scars.

It can also be used on old marks that you want to reduce and soften, which it does effectively without causing adverse reactions. They do not cause too much discomfort when applied and, as they are transparent, they are not noticeable to the naked eye and can go completely unnoticed.

They are easy to apply, thanks to their strong adhesive, which also prevents them from peeling off easily. They can be cut to fit the size of the affected area.

How to use

It is an adhesive patch that is easy to apply. Simply clean and dry the skin where it is to be applied, remove the protective covering from the inside and place the pad on the area to be protected. To make it firm, apply a little pressure. Then release and leave it for about 12 hours.

After about 8 weeks of daily use you will begin to notice distinct results. It will help the scars to begin to look less conspicuous, with less lumpiness and redness.

If the area to be covered is very large, several dressings can be used, as many as necessary, until the entire surface to be treated is covered. If, on the other hand, the spaces are smaller, the bandage can also be cut with scissors to use only the part that is needed.

Contraindications

Do not use on open, exposed wounds or burned skin.

Composition

The compress consists of polyurethane and polyacrylate, the fixing material of polyamide and a polyacrylate adhesive tape.
