What is it and what is it for?

Farmalastic Stocking Short is a product that has the ability to provide a feeling of comfort and rest to the legs. Its main purpose is to largely prevent vein and artery conditions from becoming more serious over time.

The compression provided by the stockings causes the blood flow to increase. The result is that the joints and tissues are better nourished. In addition, varicose veins can be prevented or they do not continue to spread along the legs.

Who is it suitable for?

It is indicated for people with advanced venous disorders and who are queen-size plus (ankle 28 to 29 cm and calf 43 to 45 cm).

Instructions for use

Put the stockings on very carefully and do not pull hard on the edges as they could tear. In addition to this, it is advisable to take into account the following indications:

  • Some people have very sensitive skin, so over time they may experience discomfort or some signs of inflammation. To avoid this, the best thing to do is to readjust the socks a few times a day.
  • It is healthy to wear socks all day long (from morning to evening), but it is not recommended to sleep with them on.
  • They should be washed by hand, with neutral soap and lukewarm water. Do not expose them to the sun or other sources of heat to dry them.
  • The stockings should not come into contact with creams or oils, as this alters their elastic and compressive properties.
  • When putting them on, special care should be taken with accessories, as long nails can also easily damage them.
  • If they do tear, it is best to buy a new pair. The main reason is because knitting them will not restore their properties, so they will not function in the same way as before.
  • It is also advisable to change them after 6 months of use. In this case, between washes and uses, their fibres will also wear out a bit. Even if they look in good condition, after this time they will not perform the same compression.
