What is it and what is it for?

Farmalastic Protector Blisters are dressings or strips specially designed to protect blisters from rubbing against surfaces or contact with environmental pollutants.

This product helps to block the contact of lacerations and those fluid-filled sacs that form on the outer layer of the skin, with substances that can cause infections such as dust and grease.

Farmalastic dressings were developed and tested by a comprehensive group of dermatology and skin care experts at Laboratorios Cinfa, a company specialising in products designed to protect the legs, feet and hands.

Farmalastic Protector Blisters Dressings Fingers are made with an ergonomic silhouette that contributes to generate a good level of adhesion to the skin. Thanks to their flexible and elastic material, they mould to the different areas of the fingers and are easy to remove without causing pain or discomfort. In addition, they are hypoallergenic and resistant to moderate contact with water. The box contains 6 units.

Who is it indicated for?

Farmalastic strips or dressings are specially designed and manufactured for use by both children and adults. Although they are recommended for their size and characteristics to adapt perfectly to the toes, they are also a great alternative to cover blisters or small lacerations in areas such as the heel.

How to use

Using these elastic compresses is very simple. Just open the package each unit comes in and remove the protective sheets from the dressing. Then, with the area to be treated previously washed or cleaned with a damp cloth, place it carefully on the wound and apply gentle pressure so that it adheres to the skin.

For use on the fingers, the manufacturer recommends that initially one side of the strip is adhered and then the other side is stuck on top of it, exerting the necessary pressure for the strip to play its role.

The strip can remain on the treated area for up to 7 days or until the liquid oozes out. When it starts to peel off, you should speed up the process so that it comes off smoothly. Use another compress if necessary.

Contraindications

This product is intended to protect blisters and small wounds or lacerations. Its use as a protective tool should be avoided in larger injuries that require complex processes such as bandages and treatments with medicines and specialised time and asepsis techniques.
