El Naturalista's Salvia infusion is made from natural ingredients, perfect for benefiting the body. It is rich in thujone, which offers multiple benefits. Among them, it helps to improve women's intimate cycles, as it stimulates and promotes menstrual flow.
Thanks to the leaves and flowers of sage, it helps to regulate menstrual pain. It also helps to control the symptoms caused by the menopause, as it has haemostatic properties.
It has antiseptic, oestrogenic, eupeptic and anti-sudoral action. It is also rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids, which help to reinforce these actions. It is also rich in picrosalvin, a component capable of stimulating appetite and proper digestive function.
In terms of properties for external use, this infusion is considered to be antiseptic, astringent (thanks to the presence of tannins), healing and a topical antirheumatic.
It is indicated to help reduce the following symptoms and pathologies: inappetence, asthenia, dyspepsia due to gastrointestinal atony, biliary dyskinesia, hypersweating, dysmenorrhoea, hyperglycaemia, oliguria and menopause.
For external use, it is indicated for stomatitis, pharyngitis, wounds and vaginitis.
There are two ways of using Salvia El Naturalista for internal and external use.
For internal use, by boiling. Add 4 g per cup of water. Then boil for two minutes and leave to stand for 10 minutes. Drink three cups a day.
External use, decoction: boil 30 to 40 g/l for ten minutes. Then apply as compresses, washes, baths, mouthwashes, gargles or vaginal irrigations.
Before use, it is suggested to follow the indications and dosage given by the manufacturer. In case of doubt, consult your doctor.
The product does not contain artificial components that could cause side effects on the body. However, in case of any unfavourable reaction, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Avoid ingestion or internal use during pregnancy, as the effects on the foetus have not been proven. Not recommended for people with renal insufficiency. Not suitable for children.
Sage (leaves and flowering tops). Active ingredients: Essential oil (1-2%), rich in thujone; polyphenols: flavonoids (luteololol glycoside, apigenes), phenolic acids (caffeic, chlorogenic, rosmarinic); bitter principle (picrosalvin), ursolic acid.
