El Naturalista Llantén is a product of natural origin that has the capacity to eliminate pathogenic micro-organisms and also provides the body with many antioxidants. Its main purpose is to minimise coughs caused by throat irritation.

Plantain is a plant with antiseptic properties (it eliminates micro-organisms harmful to the body) and also helps to protect cells from oxidative damage. The benefits derived from this are as follows:

• Firstly, ailments in the respiratory system are caused by viruses or bacteria. What plantain does in this case is to prevent these micro-organisms from attaching to and being more easily eliminated by the immune system. Because it has an antibacterial effect, it has the ability to treat canker sores, tonsillitis, pharyngitis and laryngitis.
• The polyphenols, polysaccharides and antioxidants in plantain have the ability to help wounds heal more easily. What they actually do is protect cells from free radicals so that they can function properly. As long as the cells are not affected by oxidative damage, they can gradually regenerate tissues.
• Another benefit of antioxidants is that they help prevent premature ageing. What you get from this is that the skin looks healthier over time.

For each cup, add 3 grams of the product. This mixture is boiled for 1 minute and left to steep for 15 minutes. Drink 3 to 4 cups a day. It is not recommended to exceed this dose because it could cause stomach upset or a laxative effect.
