This horsetail treatment is produced by El Naturalista laboratories. It has diuretic properties due to its mineral salt and flavonoid content. It also favours remineralisation. Horsetail treatment is recommended for adults only.
Horsetail by El Naturalista is a health product containing horsetail, a plant that helps to reduce fluid in the body.
Horsetail is rich in mineral salts such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and silicon. The combination of these elements provides a diuretic effect on the urinary system.
It also contains flavonoids, which are noted for their antioxidant properties. They help protect cells from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.
It is formulated to help remineralise and recalcify. It therefore serves to increase the strength of connective tissue. Other benefits include its anti-inflammatory effect and its contribution to the maintenance of collagen.
Thanks to its silicic acid content, it helps in skin care by providing elasticity and smoothness. It can be considered a natural astringent. Therefore, it is used to promote wound healing and to heal skin ulcerations.
This product prevents genitourinary infections, as it helps with the excretion of urine and the expulsion of pathogenic micro-organisms. It is also useful for the prevention of calculi because microcrystals and calcium oxalate grit are eliminated through urination.
Horsetail from El Naturalista is recommended for adults with fluid retention. It is also indicated for strengthening fractured bones and for bone remineralisation.
It is used topically on wounds and skin ulcers.
