Bearberry leaves are bladder and urinary tract disinfectants, due to the arbutin and methylarbutin they contain. The composition of Taraxacum officinale gives it excellent choleretic, diuretic and depurative properties. The pharmacological action of artichoke is not limited to its action on the hepato-biliary system, but also exerts a diuretic action and is accompanied by the elimination of urea. It also acts on urea metabolism and cholesterol turnover. Boldo normalises the functioning of the gall bladder.
