Naturalista Boldo is an infusion that has a purifying effect on the liver thanks to boldine. This substance increases bile production and makes it easier to expel bile. Boldo is also used as a laxative and digestive protector.
El Naturalista boldo is an infusion obtained from the leaves of this tree, which is used to alleviate mild hepatic affections, as well as temporary indigestion. This shrub is also known as baldeo, lemongrass, lemongrass or cimarron. It has an intense aroma and its active principles are easily extracted in an alcoholic medium. The essential oils cineol, eucalyptol and ascarides are found in the composition of this infusion.
The latter give boldo its strong aroma and have expectorant, anti-inflammatory and sedative properties, as well as helping to eliminate stomach gas. Boldo leaf infusion is indicated for people with recurrent symptoms of indigestion without obvious causes, gastrointestinal spasms, difficulty expelling retained bile, and other liver conditions.
Add 2 drops of boldo infusion per cup of boiling water, boil for 2 minutes and steep for 15 minutes. Up to 3 cups a day can be taken before main meals. It is not recommended to use the treatment for more than 4 consecutive weeks.
This infusion is not suitable for children, pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is also not suitable for people with allergic reactions or intolerance to boldo or those suffering from severe liver or kidney disease.
