Dentaid Fluor Aid 0'05 daily mouthwash is a specialised mouthwash that is enriched with fluoride, specifically the amount needed to help prevent caries and strengthen enamel in a healthy way. In addition, it contains Xylitol which is a special type of carbohydrate, related to ordinary sugar, but which cannot be deteriorated by the oral bacteria that cause caries.
The use of Xylitol in this mouthwash will help the effect last longer by adhering to the tooth surface and contributing to remineralisation by attracting fluoride. It even increases salivary secretion and helps to hydrate the entire oral cavity. It has a refreshing mint flavour that will help relieve bad breath.
The formula is free from dyes or other allergenic substances such as gluten and lactose, so that it can be used by a wider range of people without any adverse effects.
It is suitable for use by adults, the elderly and children over 6 years of age. As it does not contain gluten, it is suitable for people with coeliac disease.
It is advisable to use once a day, preferably before going to bed or sleep or after the last toothbrushing of the day. The dose of mouthwash to be used can be measured using the measuring bottle that comes with the product, normally between 10 and 15 ml, increasing or decreasing the amount depending on the age or personal conditions of the person. Once measured, the liquid is introduced into the mouth and the entire oral cavity is rinsed by making movements with the tongue and cheeks for at least 1 or 2 minutes. When finished, spit out and do not drink water or food for at least the next 15 minutes.
It should not be swallowed and in case of ingestion, observe the reaction of the body to see if it is necessary to see a doctor. Keep out of the reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion. Do not leave the bottle open for too long, close it as soon as use is finished. Avoid use if any allergic reaction to the formulation is observed. Do not apply to the skin and avoid contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes.
