These ovules also help to minimise and soothe irritation, redness, burning sensation and itching if present. Lack of female lubrication due to dryness or atrophic vaginitis can cause pain (dyspareunia) during intimate encounters in some women.
In this sense, these protective ovules help prevent pain or discomfort caused by dryness of the vulva during sexual intercourse by stimulating the production of fluids generated by the female genital tract. Farmaciasdirect recommends removing the vaginal ovuli from the packaging and then inserting it deeply into the vagina, preferably in a supine position and holding the position for a few minutes before standing up. For intensive treatment, it is advisable to administer 1 vaginal ovuli every other day for 10 days. In case of maintenance treatment, it is recommended to administer 1 vaginal ovuli every 3 days for a period of 1 month or according to the specifications of the specialist.
