Calcium supplement for deficiency states and situations requiring supplementary amounts of this mineral.

It is a calcium supplement designed to solve deficiencies in this mineral, either due to deficiencies in the diet or situations where an extra supply is required.
Shake the bottle before each use and take the necessary amount 3 times a day, with each main meal. The recommended dose varies according to the age of the patient:
- Adults: 1 teaspoonful (15 ml), equivalent to 125 mg of calcium.
- Children: 2 teaspoons (10 ml), equivalent to 83.3 mg.
Do not take Calcium-20:
- In case of allergy to tricalcium phosphate or to any of the other ingredients present in this medicinal product.
- If you suffer from kidney stones.
- If you have high amounts of calcium in your blood or urine.
Calcium 20 may cause side effects, as with all medicines, but this does not mean that everybody will experience them. Specifically, the following have been observed:
- Uncommon: hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria.
- Rare: nausea, constipation, abdominal pain, gas, diarrhoea, itching, rash, urticaria.
Each ml of Calcium 20 contains 20.88 mg of tricalcium phosphate as the main active ingredient, which is equivalent to 8.12 mg of calcium.The other excipients are: parafina líquida, carboximetilcelulosa sódica, benzoato sódico, sorbato potásico, parahidroxibenzoato de metilo (sal sósodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin, curaçao essence, lemon essence, pineapple essence and purified water.
Calcium 20 is a mineral supplement that helps to restore adequate levels in case of deficiencies in the main meals, and is valid for both adults and children.
It comes in syrup form and has a pleasant citrus flavour. As it is an emulsion, we recommend shaking before each use.
