PLANTSPRAY is supplied in a 20 ml spray bottle.

- The active substances are: Plantago major TM 2 ml and Echinacea angustifolia TM 2 ml.

- The other ingredients are purified water, glycerine, 25,2 % v/v ethanol and L-carvone.

1. WHAT IS PLANTSPRAY AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

PLANTSPRAY is a homeopathic medicine that combines components traditionally used in homeopathy for sore throats, canker sores and local irritations.

2. BEFORE TAKING PLANTSPRAY

PLANTSPRAY should not be used in:

- Patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients, to plants of the Asteraceae (Compositae) family or to any other component of the preparation.

- Children under 2 years of age.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using Plantspray.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines - including medicines obtained without a prescription.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, if you think you may be pregnant or are planning a pregnancy, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Driving and using machines

At the recommended dose, PLANTSPRAY is unlikely to have any effect on the ability to drive a vehicle or operate machinery.

Important information about some of the ingredients

PLANTSPRAY contains a small amount of ethanol, less than 100 mg for 2 sprays. Each ml of PLANTSPRAY contains 0.25 ml of ethanol, which may be a cause of risk in children, pregnant women and patients with liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, brain damage or injury.

It may modify or potentiate the effect of other medicines.

PLANTSPRAY containing glycerol as an excipient may be harmful at high doses and may cause headache, stomach upset and diarrhoea.

3. HOW TO TAKE PLANTSPRAY

Place the inhaler mouthpiece horizontally and direct it towards the affected area. Press down on the top of the canister and hold the bottle upright. Before the first use, prime the pump by pressing 3 or 4 times outside the mouth.

Dosage :

Adults and children from 2 years of age:

1 or 2 sprays, 3 to 6 times a day.

Do not use in children under 2 years of age.

Oral use.

If you think that the action of PLANTSPRAY is too strong or too weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

If symptoms worsen or persist, consult your doctor.

If you have used PLANTSPRAY more than you should, consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

If you forget to take PLANTSPRAY, do not double the dose to make up for missed doses.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Like all medicines, PLANTSPRAY may have side effects. If you notice any reaction not described in this leaflet, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

If you experience any side effects, please tell your doctor, pharmacist or nurse, even if they are not listed in this leaflet.

5. HOW TO STORE PLANTSPRAY

No special storage conditions are necessary.

This medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the pack.

Medicines should not be disposed of down the drain or in the rubbish.

Please dispose of unneeded medicines and packaging at the SIGRE point at the pharmacy.

If in doubt, ask your pharmacist how to dispose of unneeded medicines and packaging. In this way, you will help to protect the environment.

Keep PLANTSPRAY out of the reach and sight of children.
