Adrenalinum 3 DH ________________________________ 0.05 g

The other ingredients are: petrolatum, lanolin q.s. 100 g.

Avenoc is available as an OINTMENT in a 30 g tube with a rectal cannula.
Avenoc ointment is a homeopathic medicine traditionally used in the treatment of haemorrhoids which manifest themselves by painful attacks, itching and minor bleeding.
This medicine should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or to any other component of the preparation.
Pregnancy
Do not use this medicine if you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.
Breast-feeding
If you are breast-feeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using a medicine.
Your doctor should be consulted if you do not get better, particularly if the attack becomes severe or recurs. The administration of this medicine does not exempt you from following proper hygiene and diet.
As it contains lanolin, this medicine may cause local skin reactions (such as contact dermatitis).
"Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription".
Apply the ointment 3 to 4 times a day, after local cleansing of the affected area.
Continue the treatment for a few days after complete disappearance of the symptoms.
Intra-rectal application is facilitated by the use of the cannula provided.

If you think that the action of Avenoc ointment is too strong or too weak, tell your doctor or pharmacist.

If you forget to use Avenoc ointment
Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
Like all medicines, Avenoc ointment may have side effects.
If you notice any reaction not described in this leaflet, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

No special storage conditions are required.
Do not use Avenoc ointment after the expiry date stated on the carton.
Medicines should not be disposed of down the drain or in the trash.
