Blefarix are sterile wipes in single-dose sachets, specially formulated for cleaning the eyelid, eyelid margin and base of the eyelashes. By applying them, excess desquamation is gently and adequately cleaned in this area.
Blefarix wipes is an exclusive product for the daily care and cleansing of eyelids and eyelashes. Its formula cleanses and moisturises without irritating this delicate area of the skin.
It facilitates the correct removal of scales and seborrhoea from the eyelids, in periods when inflammatory and/or infectious processes such as blepharitis or tear duct obstruction occur. However, they can also be used for daily care of the external part of the eyes in normal conditions.
It comes in sterile unit-dose sachets to be used exclusively one for each eyelid, in order to avoid the transfer of infection from one eyelid to the other. Through its daily application -even several times a day depending on the specific needs of each case-, its reappearance is prevented.
Blefarix is indicated to facilitate optimal cleansing of the eyelids when there are inflammatory or infectious processes.
It is also indicated for eyelid cleansing during the postoperative period following certain eye surgeries, such as blepharoplasty. It is a dematologically tested product, suitable for infants, children and adults.
Wash hands with soap and water. Then wash the eyelids with lukewarm water, massaging gently to encourage drainage of the sebaceous glands.
Next, remove a flannel from the wrapper and gently wipe the eyelids from the inside out. If necessary, carefully wipe the eyelid margin without touching the eyeball.
Use one wipe for each eyelid, as they are sterilised to ensure asepsis at each application. Otherwise, infection could be carried from one eyelid to the other.
It should be applied whenever the eyelids need to be cleaned, even more than once a day.
Blefarix wipes do not present any contraindications, as it is a clinically proven product. However, it is recommended to discontinue use in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of its components.
