What is it and what is it for?

AVENT bottle and teat cleaning brush 1 unit SCF 145/06 is designed to clean the entire structure of baby's feeding accessories. It reaches the most difficult places, thanks to its large ergonomic handle and its high density strands.

The brush head is curved and the tip of the handle is structured to make it easier to clean teats, bottles and other items used for feeding babies. It is ideal for brushing thermal containers and dishes with dividers.

The high density bristles are made of durable material and contribute to a thorough but gentle sanitising without scratching surfaces. The rounded tip is adapted to access the inside of the teat without damaging it.

Proper cleaning of the bottle after each use is an effective way to reduce the risk of micro-organisms. These pathogens usually lodge in the teat and the milk container. This contributes to the health of the child.

Who is it suitable for?

It is adapted to the needs of parents or caregivers looking for a thorough cleaning of the bottle, teat and other accessories used to feed newborns. It is also suitable for people who need to sanitise various household items that are difficult to access, such as bottles or thermos flasks.

How to use

To thoroughly clean the bottle, it should be washed as soon as it has been used. In this way, we remove milk residues while they are still fresh and have not adhered to the structure. It is important to check that the container, teat and lid have been properly cleaned with soap and water or dishwasher.

To get the right result, it is recommended:

  • Pay special attention to the inner edges and the thread of the lid, as this is where residues tend to accumulate. Keep in mind that milk residues and other elements of biological origin are carriers of bacteria which reproduce rapidly.
  • When you have finished brushing and rinsing the bottle with plenty of water, leave it to dry in a ventilated place upside down. Avoid assembling the bottle when it is still wet. Ideally, let the water particles drain out naturally. Try not to dry the inside of the bottle to prevent contaminants from entering.

Contraindications
