Growth is the period in which the horse's future sporting career is prepared. The development of its skeleton and musculature, in particular, requires that its needs in minerals, vitamins and trace elements are well covered.

The challenge will therefore be to provide the necessary elements in the right quantities, avoiding excesses. In fact, an excessive intake has as negative consequences as an insufficient intake.

Advice

Bonutron yearling 6-36m has been specifically designed for young growing horses whose ration contains more or less industrial feed. For children under 1 year old, the correct calcium content of the feed ration is the most important parameter to control.

  • From 6-12 months - Weight < 600 kg (Adult weight) - Feed + cereals: 3 scoops/day
  • From 6-12 months - Weight < 600 kg (Adult weight) - Feed consisting of feed + cereals + processed feed: 1 scoop/day
  • From 6-12 months - Weight > 600kg (Adult weight) - Feed consisting of feed + cereals: 4 tbsp/day
  • From 6-12 months - Weight > 600kg (Adult weight) - Feed composed of fodder + cereals + industrial food: 3 tablespoons/day
  • From 12 to 36 months - Weight < 600kg (Adult weight) - Feed composed of fodder + cereals: 3 tablespoons/day
  • From 12 to 36 months - Weight < 600 kg (Adult weight) - Feed composed of fodder + cereals + processed food: 2 tbsp/day
  • From 12-36 months - Weight > 600 kg (Adult weight) - Feed composed of feed + cereals: 4 spoonfuls/day
  • From 12-36 months - Weight > 600kg (Adult weight) - Feed composed of feed + cereals + industrial feed: 3 scoops/day
