Arkopharma Laboratories have developed Arkovital® Immunity: a specific formula containing ingredients rigorously selected by the Group's experts:- Baobab (Adansonia digitata) grows naturally in the dry regions of Africa, mainly in the Sahel and Sudan areas. It is a versatile tree with many food uses and beneficial properties:- Amla (Phyllanthus emblica), commonly known as Indian gooseberry, is traditionally used in Ayurvedic practice. Amla naturally contains vitamin C, vitamin B6 and chromium - Guava (Psidium guajava). Guava has been intensively cultivated by the Incas and is still very popular in South America. It is mainly used in food for its edible seeds - Holy Basil (Ocimum sanctum). It has been used for over 3000 years and is considered a sacred plant with more religious than culinary uses.- Curry leaf (Murraya koenigii). Used as a traditional spice, this plant is popular in India and Southeast Asia for its slightly spicy, bitter and sour flavour.- Lemon (Citrus limon). The lemon originated in China or India and has been cultivated in Asia for at least 2500 years. The use of lemons is multiple, both as an ingredient and for decorative purposes. Native to Central and South America, Acerola is one of the richest sources of vitamin C in the world.- β-glucans from brewer's yeast are natural polysaccharides. They can participate in multiple functions in the organisation. Β-glucan products have been consumed for thousands of years, especially in China and Japan.- Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea). Echinacea is a plant that acts as a natural shield. Echinacea root helps the body to maintain its natural defences and, therefore, to resist the discomforts of winter. Echinacea also contributes to good respiratory comfort - Lichen: A lichen is a higher fungus in symbiosis with a seaweed, the term seaweed is taken in the broadest sense and Lichen is called Ascolichen. Lichen is mainly native to Canada, Scandinavia and Ireland.
