Infusion based on sedative plants that has a hypnotic effect, providing an immediate sensation of comfort and relaxation.
It produces a depression of the central nervous system, leading to relaxation of the individual and making it easier to fall asleep.
INDICATIONS - [INSOMNIA]. Symptomatic treatment of mild insomnia of short duration and [NERVOUSNESS] or [ANXIETY] which may cause it.
POSOLOGY DOSAGE:
- Adults, oral: In case of insomnia, it is usually sufficient to take 1-2 cups/24 hours, while in case of nervousness, 1 cup/8 hours can be taken.
- Children: The safety and efficacy of this medicine in children has not been evaluated.
INFUSION AQUILEA TRANQUILIZER 20 SACHETS
Infusions are prepared with a filter in a cup to which boiling water is added. Leave to steep for 10 minutes. It can be sweetened with sugar, honey or an artificial sweetener. If used in case of insomnia, it is recommended to take this product half an hour before going to bed. If several doses are taken daily, it is recommended to spread them out and take the last half hour before bedtime.
Although no drug-drug interactions have been described, it could be expected that this medicine could potentiate the effects of other sedative drugs such as barbiturates, benzodiazepines, H1 antihistamines, opioid analgesics or antipsychotics, so extreme caution is advised in those patients who have to drive or carry out dangerous activities.
No adverse reactions have been reported at recommended daily doses.
WARNINGS/ADVICE TO PATIENTS:
- PREGNANCY No human clinical trials have been performed and therefore the use of this medicinal product is acceptable only in the absence of safer therapeutic alternatives.
- BREASTFEEDING It is not known whether the components of this medicinal product are excreted in significant amounts in breast milk, and whether this could affect the child. It is recommended that breast-feeding be discontinued or the administration of this medicinal product be avoided. USE UNDER SPECIAL CONDITIONS - CHILDREN The safety and efficacy of this medicinal product in children have not been evaluated and therefore its use is not recommended.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the medicinal product. EFFECTS ON DRIVING This product may substantially affect the ability to drive.
