Aquamed Seaband children's wristbands are designed based on the acupressure technique that works by pressing on the Nei-Kuan point, located on the inside of the wrists. These wristbands have a button that exerts constant pressure on this acupressure point, also called P6.

Pressure on this area helps to reduce dizziness, vertigo and nausea in children who are prone to these problems when travelling. Also in those who are undergoing medical procedures that cause nausea. Their effects start to be felt 5 minutes after putting them on, so it is advisable to have them on before the start of the trip.

They are elastic bracelets with soft and comfortable fabric inside, which stimulates all the time without mistreating the skin or exerting excessive pressure. It is a simple, safe and proven technology that does not induce sleep and does not cause relevant side effects, based on the principles of Chinese acupuncture, but without using needles.

In addition, the use of these wristbands relieves anxiety, stress and tension experienced when children have to travel by plane or boat. They also help to relax the muscles and joints in the area so that the child is more comfortable and calm. They should be worn on both wrists before and during travel, keeping them on for short periods of time or for as long as needed. The acupressure point (Nei-Kuan) should be located by placing the three middle fingers on the inside of the wrist. Under the index finger, between the two tendons, is the Nei-Kuan point, the button part of the bracelet should be placed by pressing this point. Then repeat the same procedure on the other hand.

This product is not suitable for children under 3 years of age, nor for those with intolerance or allergic reactions to the material of which it is made. If swelling or reddening of the hands is noticed, the bracelets should be removed. Do not use if the nearby area has blisters, open, bleeding or oozing wounds and if the skin is damaged.
