  • Indications: Apoptus® is a nutritional supplement based on wheat germ extract fermented by a biotechnological process that provides a source of active biological components that contribute to improve the immune response. Apoptus® is indicated for pets undergoing cancer treatment by surgery, chemotherapy or immunotherapy. It is also indicated as nutritional support in diseases where it is important to strengthen the immune system. Apoptus® is a dietary treatment that does not replace or substitute any medication or oncological treatment.
  • Target species: Dogs and cats Dosage: As a nutritional supplement to improve general condition, 1 tablet per day for every 10 kg of body weight is recommended. As an adjuvant in chemotherapy treatments and/or after surgery to remove a tumour, the recommended dose is 1 tablet per 5 kg of body weight, which can be doubled if necessary and always under veterinary criteria. Apoptus® should be taken continuously during the course of cancer treatment. Subsequently, it can be used as maintenance at a dose of 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight. The tablets are administered directly into the mouth. They can also be easily disintegrated by simply squeezing them between the fingers and can be mixed with food if necessary.
  • Contraindications: Do not use in case of intolerance to fructose or to any of the components of the product. Adverse effects: Although infrequent, softer stools may occur.
  • Interactions: Apoptus® should not be taken 2 hours before or after any preparation containing vitamin C. To avoid any interaction with other medications, Apoptus® should not be taken 2 hours before or after the administration of any other medication. The administration of omega 3 fatty acids together with Apoptus® enhances the effect of the product.
  • Storage: Always keep the container closed and in a cool, dry place. Format: 60 tablets.
