Altrient R- Alpha Lipoic Acid, 240 g

Most forms of alpha lipoic acid (tablets, capsules, powders and liquids) are chemically synthesised as s-lipoic acid (S-LA) which is stable and inexpensive to manufacture but with limited benefits. Altrient uses the naturally occurring plant variant, R-lipoic acid (R-LA), which has exceptional health benefits due to its unique water and oil solubility properties.

It acts inside and outside cells, protecting virtually all body tissues against free radical damage. While R-LA has been shown to be better absorbed than S-LA, it is highly unstable and rapidly excreted. Fortunately, Altrient's R-ALA has the answer by offering a superior form of R-LA without having to compromise on stability. It does this by encapsulating R-LA in a cleverly designed phospholipid bubble called a liposome. This powerful delivery system overcomes all the digestive challenges of transporting ALA directly to the cells where it is needed most.

Directions for use

- Take 1 or 2 sachets per day
- Does not dissolve in liquid
- Do not mix, process or put in hot water.
- Add the contents of the sachet to a small glass of water or juice

- Preferably take on an empty stomach to speed up absorption.
